Too Cold For MS!

I agree with Maxine.

Just last week we were hustling in the yard to rake up as many leaves that we could before the winter storm (not even winter yet) hit. After a foot of snow fell in Mentor, OH on 11-13-2014, we had allot of shoveling to do.

The worst part is, not all of the leaves have fallen from the trees and now we have leaves piling up on top of the snow. Are we shoveling snow or raking the leaves?

Now we are experiencing frigid temperatures. Getting dressed to go outside is a big pain. My MS hands and feet do not tolerate the cold very well. So I make sure that they are covered good.

Oh, and those darn hot flashes. Can't have too many layers of clothing on because I will get too hot. And if I do have a hot flash, it's really not a good idea to start taking layers of clothing off when you are outside and standing in snow.

It seems like just yesterday that I was looking for ways to cool down my MS body from the heat. You probably won't believe this but I would rather be hot than cold. I do not enjoy winter sports. I would rather be enjoying warm sunny days dressed in my shorts and sandals.
